Checking in after a long absence to say what a great and moving spectacle it was to watch Pete Stark apologize to the Duma for speaking critical words of Our Leader. Unspeakably shameful stuff, saying bad words about George W. Bush -- even thinking bad thoughts! -- and good for Commissar Pelosi for not letting him get away with it. I finally watched Stark's original comments (youtubery here) today. The man is clearly deranged; he appears to have let actual human feelings creep into his political life. Did he somehow evade their mandatory removal?
