stopping the bleeding with a knife

It looks like some of the troops for the Iraq "surge" will be taken from, yes, Afghanistan. Where I guess they aren't really needed to counter the resurgence of the Taliban, the people who actually gave shelter to the people who led the 9/11 attacks. Our, you know, enemies. Who attacked our country.

Enjoy the logic of the surge, folks. It doesn't get any better than this.
