"i hated iraqis, your honor"
Will the addition of more American troops help to stabilize and pacify Iraq? My one quick suggestion toward an answer: What did Spc. James Barker tell the judge this week, after entering a guilty plea to avoid the death penalty, to explain why he participated in the mass rape of a fourteen year-old Iraqi girl and the murder of the girl and her family?Barker surely doesn't represent every American soldier in Iraq, but the general sentiment of exhaustion and broad distaste is very real. The project is poisoned; the wine has turned to vinegar, and it won't help to try to put more in the jug.
