So, yeah: I appear to be taking a break from blogging. Sorry 'bout that. I try to post, I think about posting, and then I don't post. For whatever reason the very idea of blogging currently makes me feel tired all over. But one day, the bug will once again crawl up my ass. And hoo boy, won't somebody be in for it then.In the meantime, may I suggest that all ya'all swing by the U.S. Army's Combating Terrorism Center and read this terrific new study, which argues that the most important thing for the U.S. to do as it combats the threat of Islamist terrorism is to...avoid a major military engagement in the Middle East.
Well, shit.

Hope you get your head straight soon. In the meantime, could you at least post a link to the excellent work you're posting elsewhere (e.g. HNN) for those of us too lazy to keep rooting through the internet to find it ourselves.
