har-de-har-har

Looking back over the few posts I've put up since I reported for another exciting round of active duty in the army, it strikes me that I've been complaining, complaining, and complaining. And I'm thinking that maybe it looks, from a distance, like I'm angry and desperate, seething and wounded, blah blah blah.

So, you know, not. I'm mostly just mildly amused. There is beer and mockery. And shit like that. Many things make me laugh out loud.

Which is what happened last time, and I never could answer that question about what the fuck are you smirking at, Bray?

So not to worry. No suffering is currently underway.

And now, more delicious beer. Six pack of tall cans, Icehouse Beer, $2.99 at the Class Six store. Booyah.

There you go. This sounds better. I always have to assume the role of ethnographer with my family. Once I witnessed a Masonic & Eastern Star ritual when my sister & her now husband simultaneously got married and were elevated to the supreme high posts of grand poobah (can't remember real name). The participants sat in ceremonial chairs & marched around them in what looked like cloverleaf fashion. I wondered why people would voluntarily subject themselves to this nonsense. But, hey, if they were Indians people would assume that some grand wisdom could be gained and furiously take notes. So be an ethnographer & create a record for future historians to value. If not you, who?
