No no no... Notes notes notes...I would strongly recommend taking notes on everything academic you read in graduate school. Right now I am rereading an article that I read last year, and it's like reading it again for the very first time. Yes, perhaps that is a good thing, because you get new and different insights. HOWEVER when you are in a time-crunch, this does not apply. I failed to take good notes -- and the ones I did are lost due to a computer failure -- on most of the books I read in the class I audited, and now it is coming back to bite me.
Moral: take notes and backup regularly.
On a side note, I'm terribly tired for some reason, so I decided that to force me to stay awake, I'd embark on a focaccia making endeavor. I just made the dough, let's see if I can make it to the punching down of the risen dough stage.
And someone has been using the stupid washing machine all day and I NEED IT.
