good science, bad science
Science and politics (see this Salon article, or better yet, listen to this episode of Justice Talking) . A number of scientists are concerned about the Bush administration's treatment of scientific knowledge -- claiming that this knowledge has been either distorted or suppressed. A declaration (The Statement) was signed by over 40 Nobel Prize winners (The Prominent Signatories).
